3. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Paul Nagle (IRL) - Citroën DS3 WRC
A very difficult stage with big changes of rhythm. There were sections where you were flying over the jumps at full speed and then into a series of very slow corners. Infact some of the corners in that stage were the slowest of the rally. On this event, if you hesitate in the first few kilometers, you are beaten. You have to get energy into the car and keep the momentum. [Pointing at damage on front of car] That was caused when we landed on top of the sponsors advertising. My pace notes said "keep in on the crest" but we still demolished the sign!

Erittäin vaikea pätkä; suuria rytminmuutoksia. Oli osuuksia, joissa lennettiin hypyissä täyttä vauhtia ja sitten taas sarja hyvin hitaita mutkia. Itseasiassa osa mutkista oli tämän rallin hitaimpia. Tässä kisassa, jos epäröi alkukilometreillä tulee lyödyksi. Auton sisällä täytyy löytää energiataso ja säilyttää se. (Osoittaa vauriota auton keulassa) Tuo on tulosta siitä, kun osuttiin sponsorin mainokseen. Nuoteissa luki "pysy nypyssä", mutta silti tuhosimme kyltin!

12. Khalid Al Qassimi (UAE) / Chris Patterson (GBR) - Citroën DS3 WRC
A lot of blind crests in there! so far so good. Co-driver: you need to be awake for that stage. We are happy with our performance and we are not making any change to our pace notes. Very happy with our progress. Last time Khalid was here was 2008.

12. Khalid Al Qassimi (UAE) / Chris Patterson (GBR) - Citroën DS3 WRC
Monta pimeää nyppyä! Hyvin tähän asti. Kartturi: tällä pätkällä täytyy olla hereillä. Olemme tyytyväisiä esitykseemme, emmekä tee mitään muutoksia nuotteihin. Upeaa kehitystä on tapahtunut. Viimeksi Khalid oli täällä 2008.

5. Elfyn Evans (GBR) / Daniel Barritt (GBR) - Fiesta RS WRC
Pretty tricky, quite slippery on a few places, on the whole not too bad. It's a fantastic road and we look forwrd to driving it again later. We have a good feeling with the car, we will do a few changes to our pace notes for the second run. Co driver: if we compare our speed to last year's we are much happier. We gain confidence to take to some future events.

5. Elfyn Evans (GBR) / Daniel Barritt (GBR) - Fiesta RS WRC
Aika kimuranttia, liukkaita paikkoja, mutta kokonaisuutena ei hullumpi. Fantastista tietä, ja odotetaan että päästään ajamaan se uudelleen. Auto tuntuu hyvältä, teemme vähän muutoksia nuotteihimme toiselle kierrokselle. Kartturi: jos vertaamme vauhtiamme viime vuoteen olemme paljon tyytyväisempiä. Keräämme itseluottamusta tuleviin kisoihin.

8. Dani Sordo (ESP) / Marc Marti (ESP) - Hyundai i20 WRC
That was very bad, just very, very slow. We do our best to reach the finish.

37. Lorenzo Bertelli (ITA) / Lorenzo Granai (ITA) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
This morning I was wondering whether I would try to push after Sordo or not. Eventually the stage was very technical so I decided to then keep a normal pace. I think Sordo did some little mistake so the stage was good for us I think. This is however my best performance of the year without any big mistake. I have limited experience with the WRC car although you gain experience in Finland. I would be happy to stay in the top 10.

Aamulla mietin yritänkö tavoittaa Sordoa vai en. Pätkä olikin aika tekninen, joten päätin pitää normaalivauhtia. Sordolle taisi sattua jokin pieni virhe, joten pätkä oli meidän kannalta hyvä.Tämä on vuoden paras esitykseni ilman isoja virheitä. Minulla on vähän kokemusta WRC autosta, mutta Suomessa kokemus karttuu. Olen tyytyväinen, jos pysyn 10 parhaan joukossa.

I have nothing to prove so I just drive the stages. The stages are really nice. We are very happy with our set-ups, our position is perfect and we are happy to bring some useful points.

It was a really, really nice stage. I made some changes yesterday to make the car harder. A really enjoyable stage. We are not looking forward to gaining any power stage points!

A tricky stage to start. It's a really nice stage, a proper stage. The second time should be easier, it's a very nice stage. Our event has been overall very good apart from the problems on day one when we had to drive in road mode. We're happy with this years rally, good points gained.

Konstikas pätkän alku. Oikein mukava, asiallinen ek. Toinen kierros pitäisi sujua paremmin, oikein kiva pätkä.

They have done a good job. The car is working perfectly. Really happy, a steady run today. There is no fight now. The gaps are too big in front and behind, we're now just working to bring home important manufacturer points.

I didn't really enjoy it, took it really carefully on the stage. It doesn't matter if we lose a lot of time here. At least I've done my pace notes.

It's high speed recce. There is nothing to try for me for the victory. We all have a lot of respect for this stage. So I focussed on the notes for the Power Stage. Second place here is good for me and it's all about maximum championship poijnts for the team. I'm very happy I don't have to push any more. This has been a very difficult event for me. The rain came too late. Jari-Matti was very strong here last year and I did not want to take any extra risks.

Tämä on nyt kovan vauhdin nuotitusta. En voi enää kamppailla voitosta. Tämä pätkä herättää kunnioitusta. Nyt keskityn Power Stagen nuotteihin. Kakkossija täällä on minulle hyvä, ja pääasia on maksimipisteet tiimille. Hyvä, ettei tarvitse enää hyökätä. Tämä on ollut minulle vaikea kisa. Sade tuli liian myöhään. Jari-Matti oli viime vuonnakin vahva täällä, enkä halunnut ottaa mitään lisäriskejä.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
It's relief. What a roller coaster, it's impressive I have to say. Places where I didn't expect to jump, we jump! Timewise we are OK but we still need a clear run and that is important. Don't know about the Power Stage yet; let's see how we feel when it comes. We won't take mximum risks and I will just try to keep up the same rhythm. The rally is not over yet and I must focuse on getting the job done. This rally is all about the first few corners and no other rally in the World Championship gives you the level of G force on gravel.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Helpottaa. Melkoista vuoristorataa, todella vaikuttavaa. Hyppyjä oli yllättävissä paikoissa. Ajan suhteen OK, mutta pitää vielä olla tarkkana, Power stagea katsotaan sitten fiiliksen mukaan. Emme aja huippuriskillä, yritetään vaan pitää sama rytmi. Ralli ei ole vielä ohi ja täytyy keskittyä viemään työ päätökseen. Tässä rallissa ensimmäiset mutkat ovat todella tärkeitä, eikä missään muussa MM-rallissa koe tällaisia G-voimia soralla.

42. Esapekka Lappi (FIN) / Janne Ferm (FIN) - Skoda Fabia R5
It was much more fun than I expected I was a bit afraid at the start but it was very enjoyable. This stage is supposed to grow hair on your chest but I didn't grow any. I live some 25 kms from here but still I have never done this stage in a competition.

Oli hauskempaa kuin odotin: Alussa vähän hirvitti, mutta oli se nautittavaa. Tämän pätkänhän piti kasvattaa karvoja rintaan, mutta nyt oli kuljettaja ihan posliini. Täältä on jotain 25 km kotiini, mutta silti en ole ikinä tätä pätkää ajanut kisassa.

I enjoyed the stage but it should be more fun if you can push. We want to reach the finish.

Dale asked me at the beginning of the stage "Is there any jumps in this stage?" and I said "No" but there was about 10 so I'm not very awake this morning! It's like I've died and gone to heaven here. It's unbelieveable this place. You think you are all cool then the next section is completely different. You have to concentrate.

Dale kysyi pätkän alussa: "Onko tällä pätkällä hyppyjä?" ja minä vastasin "Ei", mutta olihan siellä jotain kymmenen, eli en ole ihan hereillä tänä aamuna! Täällä tuntuu kuin olisin kuollut ja päässyt taivaaseen. Tämä on ihan uskomaton paikka. Sitä luulee, että tilanne on hallussa, mutta seuraavalla osuudella onkin ihan erilaista. Pitää todella keskittyä.

70. Anders Grøndal (NOR) / Roger Eilertsen (NOR) - Citroën DS3 R5
It's a good stage, we went slow and conservative. We have two spare wheels in the back and just want to finish the rally. I hope we can do another WRC event soon. This rally is just amazing, you need so much confidence and commitment. A learning process, getting better every metre.

70. Anders Grøndal (NOR) / Roger Eilertsen (NOR) - Citroën DS3 R5
Hyvä pätkä; otimme rauhallisesti ja konservatiivisesti. Meillä on kaksi vararengasta takana ja haluamme vain päästä maaliin. Toivottavasti voimme ajaa toisenkin WRC-kisan pian. Tämä on uskomaton ralli; tarvitaan paljon itseluottamusta ja paneutumista. Oppimistapahtuma, paranee metri metriltä.

A pretty wild stage! In some places I didn't really trust my notes but they were OK after all. I think that cost us some time. I just have to keep on trusting the notes.

Luckily I'm smiling again as I drove really good I think I don't know the time but I'm happy with my driving. This stage is like the younger brother of Ouninpohja. It's a really enjoyable stage. I'm satisfied.
