1. Sebastien Ogier (FRA) / Julien Ingrassia (FRA) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
It was a little damp in there so the conditions were not so bad. The grip is low but it was not a bad stage to start with. Luckily it was not tomorrow's first stage to start with!

Oli hieman kosteaa, joten ei hullummat olosuhteet. Pito ei ole kovin hyvä, mutta aika hyvin aloituspätkäksi. Onneksi ei ollut huomisen aloituspätkä.

9. Andreas Mikkelsen (NOR) / Anders Jaeger (NOR) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
We had a good stage, really good rhythm. I know this stage from previous years but I didn't do this stage last year so I was worried that the other guys would have an advantage. The feeling is really, really great so we'll have to continue like this.

Oli oikein hyvä pätkä, hyvä rytmi.Tunnen tämän pätkän edellisiltä vuosilta, mutta en ajanut tätä viime vuonna, joten vähän huoletti onko muilla kavereilla etua siitä. Tuntuma on todella hyvä, täytyy jatkaa samaan tapaan.

4. Hayden Paddon (NZL) / John Kennard (NZL) - Hyundai New i20 WRC
The grip was a little low. It was a clean run, nothing special. We're trying to keep it tidy, not taking the risks of the boys in front who are all over the shop. If we can keep up this pace for the rest of the rally, I'll be surprised.

Pito oli vähän huono. Puhdas ajo, ei mitään erityisempää. Yritetään ajaa siististi, ei oteta samanlaisia riskejä kuin edellä ajavat kaverit, jotka menevät tien täydeltä. Jos saadaan pidettyä tämä tahti koko rallin, ihmeissään saa olla.

It was a good start but the first three kilometers were slippery. If you carry too much speed it takes you close to the ditch if you don't correct your notes. People had been cutting so I cut also.We caught a bit a grass at the end of the stage but nothing serious.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Ihan jees. Vähän liukasta; mentiin vähän leveäksikin, mutta sain ajamisesta kiinni kolmen kilometrin jälkeen. Jos on liikaa vauhtia, joudut liian lähelle ojaa mutkissa, jos et ole korjannut nuottia nyt kun siellä on niitä betonimerkkejä. Muutkin olivat näköjään leikanneet mutkissa. Tuli vähän ruohoa mukaan loppupätkällä, mutta ei mitään vakavaa.

5. Mads Ostberg (NOR) / Ola Floene (NOR) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
It was quite a good start, I had a good rhythm in there, I could go faster in some corners.

Aika hyvä aloitus. Löysin rytmin, mutta muutamissa mutkissa voisin olla nopeampikin.

I was not committed enough with some ups and down by the end of the stage. I was not comfortable on the second part of the stage.

We had some bad moments and lost some time. With hard compounds it was slippery at the start of the stage but we found more grip by the end.

Oli muutama hankala paikka, ja hukattiin aikaa. Kovilla renkailla oli liukasta alkupäässä, mutta loppua kohti pito parani.

7. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Paul Nagle (IRL) - Citroën DS3 WRC
I came over the line and you never know your time. For sure it was humid and slippery in there. In a few places I braked too early and I was a bit cautious in places. You have to judge the grip, it's a nice start but a long way to go.

Vasta maaliviivalla näin ajan. Olihan kosteaa ja liukasta. Parissa paikassa jarrutin liian aikaisin ja paikoitellen otin vähän varovasti. Pitoa pitää arvioida. Mukava alku, mutta pitkä matka edessä.

6. Eric Camilli (FRA) / Benjamin Veillas (FRA) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
It's not the same sport with the WRC! We didn't take any risk and we got to understand the car and the stage. The roads are fantastic but you need to be awake!

Incredibly slippy. The grip was so bad in some places and in others not terrible. Tricky, tricky.

Already! When we were warming up the tyres at the start we had troubles with the gear box. We have only front wheel drive.

Amazing, the roads are so enjoyable to drive. This is a well known stage and to be on the pace at the beginning. The car feels good and we need to increase our speed and understand the stages.

Uskomatonta, todella nautinnollisia teitä ajaa. Tämä on tunnettu pätkä ja on hyvä päästä tahtiin heti alusta. Auto tuntuu todella hyvältä, täytyy lisätä vauhtia ja oppia ymmärtämään pätkiä.
