Not so bad. The last 800m were damp but other than that, it was dry. No problems. It has been a difficult day. There is so little left tomorrow to be able to catch anyone.

Meeke has been doing an amazing job but I have not been able to drive the speed that he is driving. It suprised me but I believe the car is also better than last year. It was slippy towards the end. We also had a bit of a moment in a jump there. The front of the car was pointing up when we landed and I couldn't really see where we were landing, and we were a bit sideways.

Meeke on tehnyt upeaa työtä, mutta minä en ole pystynyt siihen vauhtiin. Yllättävää kyllä, että auto on parempi kuin viime vuonna. Pätkän lopussa oli liukasta, ja yksi hyppy meinasi yllättää. Sidoin vähän ja keula oli pystyssä, enkä oikein nähnyt mihin se laskeutuu. Tultiin vähän vinossa alas.

I think I have been driving really well today. I've never driven this well in Finland so I'm really pleased with that. I was thinking I did a good job yesterday as well but today is better. Several small changes to the setup today. It's been a good day for me and it's ben good to be in a fight here in Finland.

Mielestäni olen ajanut todella hyvin tänään. En ole koskaan ajanut näin hyvin Suomessa, joten olen tyytyväinen. Ajattelin tekeväni hyvää työtä eilen, mutta tämä päivä sujui vielä paremmin. Paljon pieniä muutoksia asetuksiin tänään. Tämä on ollut hyvä päivä minulle, ja on ollut hienoa taistella Suomessa.

It was a good day except the first stage of the day. We are having a great fight with Haydon through the entire day. I was pretty much over the limit in that latest stage. We will continue tomorrow.

It always a great atmosphere in Finland, a great rally always! It is one of the best rallys of the year from every side. We'll try our best in the Power Stage, that is the only target we have left in this rally.

Today has been exceptional. Yesterday was probably one of the best days I've had in a rally car and today has surpassed that. I don't know where we go from that! Tomorrow is only 30km, we'll play it really safe int he morning and try to take it home. When I left this morning with a 30 second lead I said we'd just keep it together then we got two best times. When it's working it's working but we've just got to take it home. The faster I go the faster Jari-Matti goes!

7. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Paul Nagle (IRL) - Citroën DS3 WRC
Eilinen oli ehkä yksi parhaista päivistä mitä olen ralliautossa viettänyt, ja tämä päivä on ollut sitäkin parempi. Mihin tästä voi enää edetä! Huomenna on enää 30 kilometriä jäljellä, ja pitää pelata varman päälle ja tuoda auto maaliin. Kun aamulla lähdin 30 sekunnin johdossa, sanoin että pidetään vaan homma kasassa, mutta sitten tulikin kaksi pohja-aikaa. Kun toimii, niin toimii, mutta homma pitää hoitaa kotiin. Mitä kovempaa menen, sitä kovempaa Jari-Mattikin menee!

It's there 100% for the taking. It seemed to be unrealistic years, months and days ago. I'm not letting go of this. Without being cocky, I'm not doing anything special I'm just enjoying myself. I'm so, so grateful for this chance. Whatever the Sheik wants, I just want to keep driving this car!

8. Craig Breen (IRL) / Scott Martin (GBR) - Citroën DS3 WRC
Se on ihan täysin otettavissa. Tämä tuntui epärealistiselta vuosia, kuukausia, päiviä sitten. Tätä en päästä käsistäni. En yritä elvistellä, en tee mitään kikkailuja, nautin vain. Olen todella kiitollinen tästä tilaisuudesta. Mitä Sheikki vain haluaakin, haluan vain ajaa tätä autoa!

We were not as close as we were yesterday. I just couldn't find the rhythm. We have another day tomorrow to improve that. I think we could and tomorrows stages are lovely. Probaby a bit of cleaning but the more stages the better.

Ei oltu ihan niin tuntumassa kuin eilen. En vaan saanut rytmistä kiinni. Huomenna on vielä päivä aikaa parantaa. Uskon, että siihen pystytään, ja huomisen pätkät ovat upeita. Ehkä vähän joudutaan putsaamaan, mutta sen parempi mitä enemmän pätkiä.

It's fantastic for Kris! I have believed in him since the beginning! They are the future of this sport! For us it was not the best day. We were not at the level we wanted but it's going better.

It's getting better and better. This stage was as good as this stage could be. We were about 1 second per km off the pace, we started being about 3 seconds per km off.

Everything is going according to the plan. It's a good day, we knew everyone would push on Ouninpohja so we pushed as well. No need to try anything fancy now as we're in no hurry anymore. We have been able to control our lead. On the whole, it has been a great day.

Kaikki menee suunnitelman mukaan. Hyvä päivä. Tiedettiin, että Ouninpohjassa kaikki hyökkäävät, ja niin mekin tehtiin. Turha yrittää enää mitään hienoa, kun enää ei ole kiire. On pystytty kontrolloimaan johtoamme. Kokonaisuutena on ollut hieno päivä.

No problems, but I made a tiny mistake that cost maybe 0.2-0.3sec. The second loop has been better for us. Still, we can't afford mistakes if we want to keep our position.

It's a lot of fun. Not my best driving this weekend but it's not easy. If I can get a WRC that's the problem. I need more training on the gears in this car - I have only five speeds and it's not easy!
