Here in Finland it's difficult to know as when you lose a little confidence you lose a lot of time as the speeds are so high. The guys here from Finland they are very, very fast. Not a very interesting day for us but I try to do my best.

I really haven't been confident. I don't feel like I can push. Every time you push the brakes or lift the throttle in Finland then you lose a second and I'm just not feeling it here.

I am very disappointed and also happy to be back in the speed this afternoon. It was disappointing to lose so much time and you push so much to gain this time. The good thing is that we are fast.

It drives surprisingly well with the damage I have to admit. We've already driven some tens of kms like this. I have to take care over the jumps but now it's back to service and tomorrow is a new day.

It's been a good and bad day. Some good speed when everything is working well but some small issues and some mistakes. Some proper, proper stages tomorrow so bring it on.

The forrest stages have been good. I have done some good stages. I need to improve the driving on slippery stages. I am not happy with this stage as I haven't done this kind of stage with this car.

Metsäpätkät olivat hyviä, ja siellä tuli hyviä aikoja. Liukkailla pätkillä pitää parantaa ajamista. Nämä kaupunkipätkät ottavat päähän. En ole ajanut tällaisia pätkiä tällaisella autolla. Tarvii ehkä opetella vielä.

10. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Toyota Yaris WRC
Esapekka has been driving really, really well. I must say overall, I've been doing what I can but he was a bit quicker than me today so I'll try and improve for tomorrow. Urria 2 and Äänekoski 2 went a bit wrong for me. I need to drive cleaner. Ouninpohja and Päijälä will be the most decisive stages tomorrow.

Esapekka Lappi ja Teemu Suninen ovat ajaneet hyvin. Yritän parantaa huomenna. Kokonaisuutena olen tehnyt sen minkä olen pystynyt, mutta Esapekka on vain ollut hiukan nopeampi. Urria 2 ja Äänekoski 2 menivät vähän pieleen. Ajamista pitää saada puhtaammaksi. Ouninpohja ja Päijälä ovat huomenna tärkeimmät.

12. Esapekka Lappi (FIN) / Janne Ferm (FIN) - Toyota Yaris WRC
It's difficult to describe, since a small boy I've been dreaming to drive a WRC car in Rally Finland and now it's happened and we are leading! I can't believe it. Tomorrow we have Ouninpohja which is the best stage in the world in this car - it's just amazing. We need to concentrate on ourselves tomorrow, I don't want to force myself to fight Jari-Matti. My target was to be on the podium and at the moment we are on target. Harju was now better for us than yesterday. We can also have a laugh in the car when, for example, we hit a braking point perfectly. This is a sweet job.

12. Esapekka Lappi (FIN) / Janne Ferm (FIN) - Toyota Yaris WRC
On vaikea kuvailla tätä; pikkupojasta asti olen haaveillut WRC-auton ajamisesta tässä rallissa, ja nyt se tapahtuu, ja me johdetaan! Uskomatonta. Huomenna on Ouninpohja, ja se on maailman paras pätkä tällä autolla - hämmästyttävä juttu. Pitää vain keskittyä itseemme huomenna, enkä halua pakottaa itseäni taistelemaan Jari-Matin kanssa. Tavoite oli olla palkintopallilla, ja tällä hetkellä ollaan tavoitteessa. Nyt on eri fiilikset kuin eilen täällä. Ei tullut niin paljon turpaan. Kyllä mekin naureskellaan autossa, kun vaikkapa jokin jarrutus menee nappiin kuin elokuvissa. Onhan tämä makeata hommaa.
