It was OK. Early morning, the conditions are OK, an OK stage. I would like a lot more of humidity but it is the way it is.

A nice stage but quite surprisingly slippy especially at the beginning of the stage where it looked like quite a bit of loose but it was OK. It's not so bad, a clean stage. No problem.

This rally, you just have to be so committed and every time you lift the throttle for one second you pay for it for a long time. The level is really high I tell you. It's only going to get better from here.

It's OK. A bit tricky, a bit slippy. I'm still finding the rhythm but really, really nice stages. I hope that the stage is not getting much better.

Ihan OK. Vähän hankala ja liukaskin. Haen vielä rytmiä, mutta on kivoja pätkiä. Toivottavasti pätkä ei tuosta paljon parane.

7. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Paul Nagle (IRL) - Citroën C3 WRC
By a few tenths. it's going to be tenths separating everyone. It's going to be a long day, lots of stages, short and sharp. No road cleaning, it's humid all the way through. Its slippy but when it's humid like this in Finland it's slippy all the way through.

Muutamien kymmenysten eroja ajoissa ja taitaa olla jatkossakin. Tästä tulee pitkä päivä, paljon pätkiä, lyhyitä ja tiukkoja. Ei tarvitse putsata tietä, koko pätkä on kosteaa. On liukasta, ja tällä kosteudella liukkautta taitaa riittää koko rallin.

It was very slippery. I was all the time on the edge, I lost some time on cutting - not so much.

It was quite OK. Tricky first stage with the grip difficult to judge, we are not fastest but we are where we need to be. I am happy with this first stage.

Oli aika OK. Hankala eka pätkäksi, ja pitoa oli vaikea arvioida. Ei olla nopeimpia, mutta ollaan missä pitääkin. Olen ihan tyytyväinen tähän.

15. Teemu Suninen (FIN) / Mikko Markkula (FIN) - Ford Fiesta WRC
That's good, it's a bit fixing yesterdays mistakes. The race is really close and I need to improve the driving. It's not going to be an easy rally. All drivers can improve on this stage, it's the first stage of the day so we have some seconds spare. We can drive faster.

15. Teemu Suninen (FIN) / Mikko Markkula (FIN) - Ford Fiesta WRC
Ihan virheettömästi tuli, mutta kisa on tiukka, ja ajamista pitää parantaa. Pito vaihteli. Ei tästä helppoa tule. Näin on hyvä korjata eilisen virheitä. Vähän pystyn vielä kiristämään. Kaikki muutkin pystyvät parantamaan

We are a bit too much sideways. After 1,5 km we had a small moment but managed to control the car. It was OK.
