It was in slow motion, a slow third gear corner, I turned the wheel and the car just went straight ahead. That illustrates the problem we've had all rally. We'll look back at this and laugh but anything that can go wrong, has gone wrong

I'm not sure, we'll see what the other guys are doing but we will see. When you are fighting against a four times World Champion you won't win the championship on one race. There is a huge team behind me looking at what to improve.

Last year was awesome I was on top of the world and ready to move on. I have an amazing bunch of people around me who are really working hard. I can't explain how hard everyone worked. It was hard work but a step back from last year when we were fighting right up at the front. It's hard work. I exceeded my own expectations. We made some big steps with the car, we just need a few more steps.

The rally was really good for me, better than anybody could have expected. I was fighting for the second position then a mistake and I am fourth. At the moment it's disappointing but tomorrow I think I wll feel better. My second race and I almost reached the podium.

It's been a tough weekend. Friday was far from ideal, we didn't think we would be in this position on Friday night. I made two mistakes this morning on this stage and tried to be clean in here and no mistakes. It's really positive. We were in need of a good result and Friday was difficult with the rain and finally the conditions came to our hands. It's been good. [After Juho finished third] [Dan Barritt] Unbelieveable! To finish second on probably the most famous rally in the World is quite special. [Elfyn Evans]It was a tough day on Friday but the result is really, really good.

On ollut rankka viikonloppu. Perjantai oli kaukana täydellisestä, emme uskoneet, että olisimme tässä tilanteessa perjantain jälkeen. Tein kaksi virhettä aamulla tällä pätkällä ja yritin nyt tulla siististi ilman virheitä. Todella positiivista. Tarvitsimme hyvää tulosta, ja perjantai sateineen oli hankala, mutta lopulta olosuhteet muuttuivat meidän eduksemme. On mennyt hyvin. (Juho tuli maaliin kolmantena). Daniel Barritt: Uskomatonta! Tulla toiseksi ehkä maailman kuuluisimmassa rallissa on erityisen hienoa. Elfyn Evans: Perjantai oli rankka päivä, mutta lopputulos on todella, todella hyvä.

I wanted to be second but I made a small mistake at the start. At the same time it's good to be realistic and it's our first time on the podium.

Amazing! What a rally! I have to really say thanks to the team and Tommi. They built a fantastic car in such a short time. I need to get more mileage, this is on my home soil and I should have been strong here and I was, so I need more experience on other roads. [Tommi Makinen] I had a very strong feeling before the rally that Esapekka could do it like I did 20 years ago. All our drivers were doing a very extreme job during the weekend. I'm absolutely happy and thanks to the whole team who have done an absolutely great job. I think we have a fast car at the moment.

36. Quentin Gilbert (FRA) / Renaud Jamoul (BEL) - Skoda Fabia R5
We had a nice week-end and this second place is very encouraging. We did quite a good job, and our speed is good compared to the Finnish drivers. Last year we were unlucky with mechanical problems and we are more confident this year and the Skoda is an incredible car.

36. Quentin Gilbert (FRA) / Renaud Jamoul (BEL) - Skoda Fabia R5
Meillä oli mukava viikonloppu, ja tämä kakkossija on rohkaiseva. Tehtiin aika hyvää työtä, ja vauhtimme on hyvää verrattuna suomalaisiin kuljettajiin. Viime vuonna meillä oli epäonnea teknisten ongelmien kanssa, mutta tänä vuonna ollaan varmempia, ja Skoda on uskomaton auto.

Very pleased to finish on the podium. It's been a challenging weekend. We could have been battling for second but the first time here in an R5 to be on the podium, I'm very happy. We've got an important few weeks coming up behind the scenes so we'll see what happens there.

42. Tom Cave (GBR) / James Morgan (GBR) - Hyundai i20 R5

It's a really good one. The encouraging thing is that I can see that I'm making so many mistakes when I watch the on board. I can fix that for next year. We're a bit ahead of schedule this year, so we've changed some objectives for the end of the year.
