It's not easy, there is a lot of loose gravel. In some places it is very slippery. Very little experience in these conditions. Yesterday I experienced that the crests look at 60kph but they are not similar when you approach at 180kph so you need experience.

I always enjoy this stage but I've never been so fast in here. One junction we went wide and couldn't keep an optimum line. (When asked if he had had a cup of his coffee in the morning, he answered 'No, the hotel doesn't have it yet!'. Latvala has recently given his name to a range of coffee in Finland.)

J'aime toujours cette ES mais je ne l'avais jamais parcourue à cette vitesse. Je me suis un peu raté dans un croisement et n'ai pas gardé la trajectoire parfaite. (A savoir s'il avait bu son propre café ce matin, il répond : "Non l'hôtel ne l'a pas encore". Latvala vient en effet de donner son nom à une sélection de café en Finlande).

It was quite difficult as the long stages. It's hard to drive quickly. I've never liked this stage, it's not my cup of tea. I'm OK.

I think the stage was really nice. Really fast, it's quite flat out here. There are lots of mistakes without 100% flat out. The car is really nice to drive. I have 2,5 l in the drinking water tank on the car and it all gets consumed during the morning loop.
