The time is not so bad and the stage is not so bad. At the moment it's very close to perfect but in Finland it needs to be perfect to get the speed. I'm really working on it but the positive thing is that in Finland you always enjoy it while you are working.

Le temps est correct tout comme la spéciale. Ce n'est pas loin d'être parfait ici en Finlande mais il faut cela pour arriver à ces vitesses. Je bosse beaucoup mais ce qui est sympa en Finlande est que le boulot est toujours agréable.

Aika ei ole huono niinkuin ei pätkäkään. Ajo sujui lähes täydellisesti, mutta Suomessa kunnon vauhtiin päästäkseen ajon täytyy olla aivan täydellistä. Teen kovasti töitä, mutta hyvä puoli Suomessa on, että työnteko on nautinnollista.

I got caught out coming down the bumpy hill. The car kicked right and left, it was a moment I wasn't really going for anything, slowing down. It wasn't nice, that part is quite tricky. That's the way it is.

Je me suis fait surprendre dans une descente bosselée. La voiture est partie de droite et de gauche, on a eu peur d'autant qu'on était pas en pleine attaque. C'était désagréable, cette portion est piégeuse mais cela arrive!

Kuoppaisessa rinteessä tuli yllättävä tilanne. Auto pomppi vasemmalle ja oikealle, ja piti hidastaa. Ei ollut kivaa. Se osuus on aika hankala, muttta se kuuluu tähän.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
I'm quite satisfied. It was a clear run but I can improve. There was a couple of places that I was a little sideways which I lost some speed on. It's good to se the people here. Down here you have a lot of speed! I am not sure how fast the others are going as I haven't got all the splits.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Je suis plutôt content. Une spéciale propre mais je peux encore m'améliorer. J'ai perdu un peu de temps en étant un peu de travers sur certains endroits. Sympa de voir autant de spectateurs. On va vraiment vite là-dedans!

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Olen aika tyytyväinen. Puhdas ajo, mutta vielä voi parantaa. Parissa paikassa ajettiin vähän sivuttain ja menetettiin vauhtia. Mukava nähdä näin paljon yleisöä. Vauhtia täältä löytyy! En tiedä miten lujaa muut menee, en ole saanut kaikkia väliaikoja.

35. Jari Ketomaa (FIN) / Kaj Lindström (FIN) - Ford Fiesta R5
I'm disappointed, I try to do my best until the end of the rally. The compression strut is bent and we just need to hold the stage together until service. We touched a stone on the inside of the corner, it was so close to the end of the road.

Je suis déçu. J'ai l'intention de faire de mon mieux jusqu'à l'arrivée. Un bras de suspension est tordu et il nous faut parcourir cette spéciale tranquillement avant avant de pouvoir rejoindre notre assistance. Nous avons heurté une pierre à l'intérieur d'un virage alors que nous étions quasiment arrivés.

Etutukivarsi on vääntynyt. Ei ole varaosaa mukana, mutta toivotaan että kestää huoltoon saakka. Osuttiin kiveen mutkan sisäreunassa. Joskus kun menee 30 milliä pieleen, niin osuu juuri kiveen.

(Viime vuonna Himos ajettiin kovassa sateessa.) Silloin pyyhkijät eivät toimineet, ja jotenkin taisteltiin maaliin. Nyt ollaan WRC2:n nopeimpia. Vuodet eivät ole veljiä keskenään!

66. Teemu Suninen (FIN) / Juha-Pekka Jauhiainen (FIN) - Citroen DS3 R3T
Rolled in SS17 but got to the end of the stage. The rear of the car is extensively damaged. The left rear suspension is broken, tyre punctured and the wheel is pointing to the left. They replaced the puncture and are trying to get to the next stage, but the wheel is still out of line. The roll was possibly due to a mistake in the pacenotes.

66. Teemu Suninen (FIN) / Juha-Pekka Jauhiainen (FIN) - Citroen DS3 R3T
Tonneau dans l'ES17 mais rejoint l'arrivée. L'arrière de la voiture est très endommagé. Suspension arrière gauche cassée, pneu crevé et roue desaxée vers la gauche. Ils ont changé la roue et espèrent faire la prochaine spéciale mais la roue n'est pas correctement alignée. Il est possible qu'une erreur dans les notes soit à l'origine de leur tonneau.

66. Teemu Suninen (FIN) / Juha-Pekka Jauhiainen (FIN) - Citroen DS3 R3T
Pyörähti EK17:lla, mutta pääsi pätkän loppuun. Auton takaosa on pahasti vaurioitunut. Vasen takajousitus on hajalla, rengas puhjennut ja pyörä osoittaa vasempaan. He saivat renkaan vaihdettua ja yrittävät päästä seuraavalle pätkälle, mutta pyöra ei ole vieläkään linjassa. Pyörähdys saattoi johtua nuottivirheestä.

(They are still driving with a broken right front shock absorber.) One bounce becomes three bounces. The handling is unpredictable. It was difficult to keep the car under control here, but the next stage is fairly level and shouldn't be such a problem for us.
