There is a lot of grip. The tyres are moving around a lot, there are a lot of stones and we got a puncture in teh last one so we were too cautious I think. We have a lot of stages to do before we get back to service.

I have pushed in here and for a change it's not gone too bad. We had a few moments in here and there are a lot of rocks in here. Some we just had to drive over them.

Not so many ruts. I hit one massive hole in the road - it was right across the road when you turn into a flat left hander. The car jumped up. The holes are appearing in different places and when you are doing that speed over the crests you can't avoid them. I didn't take any risks.

Il n'y avait pas tant d'ornières que ça. J'ai tapé un gros trou en plein milieu de la route juste avant de prendre un long gauche. La voiture a décollé. Les trous se forment en différents endroits mais il est impossible de les éviter à cette allure sur les crêtes. Je n'ai pas pris de risque.

Ei niin paljon uria. Osuin valtavaan reikään tiessä. Se oli keskellä tietä vasemmalle kääntyvässä täyden vauhdin mutkassa. Auto pomppasi ylös. Reikiä ilmaantuu eri paikkoihin ja tässä vauhdissa niitä ei voi välttaa. En ota riskejä.

There was a massive, massive hole in one of the places, then we lost the brakes and we had to back off toward the end of the stage. Now we have to get the brakes fixed before the next one.

The stages are really bad. Most of the bumps there were some rocks. On one crest there was a big, big hole after a crest. We are in better shape than we expected. We can't fight for second as that is our team mate, so we are happy with third.

Les spéciales sont très dégradées avec des pierres à la place des jumps. Il y avait aussi un gros trou avec une crête. On s'en sort mieux que prévu. Nous ne pouvons nous battre pour la seconde place puisque c'est notre coéquipier donc on est contents d'être troisièmes.

Pätkät ovat aika pahoja. Yhden nypyn jälkeen oli iso reikä tiessä. Ollaan paremmassa iskussa kuin odotettiin. Ei voida taistella kakkospaikasta, koska siinä on tallikaverimme, joten tyydytään kolmossijaan.

On todella vaikeaa, kun on niin paljon kiviä. Luulimme ensin, että vasemman puolen rengas rikkoutui, sitten oikean. Näimme, että auto numero 52 oli pysähtynyt pätkällä n. 1km ennen maalia, ehkä osuttuaan kiveen.

It's a really tricky stage as it's so fast. When you are in sixth gear you either hit a rock or a tree! You always need to have a bit up your sleeve when you can't see. This is the most fun we've had on an event in some time. It's really encouraging to be pushing and we're close enough now to be within striking range. Co-driver: The last two stages were amazing! We didn't know where the rocks would be. You drive over a crest and hope you are on the right line. It's nerve-racking!

C'est piégeux parce que c'est ultra rapide. En sixième on tape ou une pierre ou un arbre! Il faut garder une petite marge quand on est à l'aveugle. Cela fait longtemps qu'on ne s'était pas autant amusés. C'est encourageant de voir que nos efforts sont payants. Copilote : les deux dernières spéciales étaient incroyables, on ne savait pas où seraient les pierrres. On passe les crêtes en espérant atterrir au bon endroit, c'est dur pour les nerfs!

On tosi ovela pätkä, koska se on niin nopea. Kuutosvaihteella voit osua joko kiveen tai puuhun! Aina pitää olla jotakin konsteja, kun ei näe. Näin hauskaa ei olekaan ollut missään kisassa aikoihin. On rohkaisevaa hyökätä, ja ollaan jo iskuetäisyydellä. Kartturi: Kaksi viimeistä pätkää olivat mahtavia!

We just hit a rock at about 4km in on a right hander. We broke a rim, but jacked the car up and couldn't get it off so we had to drive further to losen it. It is a big challenge, we're good at wheel changing now!

Osuimme kiveen 4km kohdalla oikealle kaartavassa mutkassa. Vanne hajosi, tunkkasimme auton ylös mutta emme saaneet rengasta irti, joten täytyi ajaa edelleen sen löysyttämiseksi. Aikamoinen haaste, mutta olemme nyt taitavia renkaan vaihdossa.
