The grip was good, I took it a bit too easy in some places.

Happy, we had a moment on a left hander. Luckily there was no rocks. It was the first rally in the rally that we recced and I didn't have in the notes that it tightened. No worries afterwards.

Sympa, on s'est fait peur sur un gauche mais par chance il n'y avait pas de pierre. C'est la première ES qu'on avait reconnue donc je suppose que nos notes n'étaient pas très à jour. Mais tout va bien.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Hyvä alku; kokonaisuutena hyvä ajo. Oli pikku tilanne yhdessä pitkässä vasemmassa. Perä kävi ojassa, mutta veto oli päällä ja auto nousi sieltä. Tämä oli eka EK, kun nuotitettiin, ja se kirrasikin enemmän. Ei hätää. 

9. Andreas Mikkelsen (NOR) / Ola Floene (NOR) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
My time was really bad. These guys in front are doing a really good job. A bit careful on the new stage but it is so wide, I come out of the corner and there is two or three meters. There is more time to come but I'm going OK.

Le temps était vraiment mauvais, les gars devant font un boulot formidable. J'ai été prudent sur cette spéciale nouvelle qui est très large. On sort d'un virage et il y a un battement de deux trois mètres. Il reste beaucoup de chemin à parcourir mais cela va bien.

9. Andreas Mikkelsen (NOR) / Ola Floene (NOR) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Aika on tosi huono. Kaverit edellä tekevät hyvää työtä. Otin vähän varovasti tällä uudella pätkällä. Tosi leveää, mutkan jälkeen tilaa oli vielä 2-3 metriä. Aikaa täytyy parantaa, muuten menee ihan ok.

4. Mads Østberg (NOR) / Jonas Andersson (SWE) - Citroen DS3 WRC
We made some changes to the tyres and they are very different today. The car is working but very different to yesterday. Difficult and it seems like I don't remember how to drive the car. Yesterday we had some problems and we also changed the setup, I can really feel that on the car but it's me.

Nous avons modifié les pneus qui sont très différents aujourd'hui. La voiture se comporte aussi différemment. J'ai l'impression d'avoir oublié comment on faisait pour piloter. Nous avons eu des soucis hier et avons changé certains réglages. Je les sens aujourd'hui.

Tehtiin vähän muutoksia renkaisiin ja ne ovat hyvin erilaiset tänään. Auto toimii, mutta on tosi erilainen kuin eilen. Vaikeaa, tuntuu kuin en muistaisi miten ajaa. Eilen meillä oli vähän ongelmia, joten muutettiin asetuksia ja nyt sen huomaa.

5. Mikko Hirvonen (FIN) / Jarmo Lehtinen (FIN) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
I lost a lot in the narrow roads but it was damp and slippy in places.

[Damage to rear of car and front left] I went slightly wide on slippy braking. I hit something with the rear but the car is driving OK. We lost a bit of downforce with a broken spoiler but we are going to continue like it.

(Voiture endommagée à l'arrière et sur le côté avant gauche) Je suis parti large en glissant sur un freinage. j'ai heurté quelque chose à l'arrière mais la voiture continue à aller bien. Nous avons perdu un peu d'équilibre en cassant le spoiler mais nous allons poursuivre ainsi.

(Vaurioita auton takaosassa ja ja etuvasemmalla) Meni vähän pitkäksi, luisti jarrutuksessa. Takaosa osui johonkin, mutta ajettavuus on ihan OK. Menetettiin vähän downforcea, kun spoileri hajosi, mutta jatketaan.

3. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Paul Nagle (IRL) - Citroen DS3 WRC
In the middle of the stage I got a bit lost in my notes and had to back off until I picked it up again. The stage is beautiful but you have to be careful as you arrive at the corners at such a great speed.

Je me suis un peu emmêlé dans mes notes en milieu de spéciale, j'ai du ralentir pour m'y retrouver. Cette spéciale est superbe mais il faut faire attention à aborder les virages correctement à une vitesse pareille.

Puoli välissä pätkää sekosin vähän nuoteissa ja täytyi himmata kunnes sain taas kiinni nuoteista. Kaunis pätkä, mutta täytyy olla tarkkana, sillä mutkiin tulee kovalla vauhdilla.

6. Elfyn Evans (GBR) / Daniel Barritt (GBR) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
Much better to be honest. It seemed to be a lot better in here, don't ask me why as I didn't change anything. It's better on the narrower roads.

Totta puhuen täälllä menee paljon paremmin.älä kysy miksi; en muuttanut mitään. Kapealla tiellä kulkee paremmin.

It's OK, I'm not happy but it could be better. I'm not happy with the rhythm.

Auto on täydellinen. Kaitsun (Lindström) synttärit on nyt vietetty, ja loppuviikko voidaan keskittyä ralliin. Pikkuisen hankala pätkä. On tosi vaikeita paikkoja.

It was a crazy stage, I was too slow in a lot of places. I was braking too much in there, next time will be better. These two stages are not my favourite ones.

Hullu pätkä. Olin liian hidas monessa paikassa. Jarruttelin liikaa, mutta ensi kerralla menee paremmin. Nämä kaksi eivät ole suosikkipätkiäni.

It's not so easy to find good rhythm and we have to push ourselves. We have to show there is still some speed here.
