He did a good job on the stage. One mistake, I couldn't keep the car in the line and we lost time. It woke me up and I need to keep the focus now. We didn't go off the road but the rally is so fast, when you don't keep it on the line you lose time straight away.

2. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
Il a fait un bon boulot dans cette ES. J'ai fait une petite erreur à ne pas garder la voiture dans la trace et on perd du temps. Cela m'a donné un coup de fouet et je suis de nouveau concentré. Nous ne sommes pas sortis de la route mais le rallye est si rapide que dès qu'on sort un peu de la meilleure trajectoire, on perd du temps.

Ogier teki hyvää työtä. Yksi virhe tuli, yksi mutkayhdistelmä meni leveäksi, ja se rankaisi heti. Ei käyty ulkona kuitenkaan. Se herätti minut, ja nyt pitää keskittyä.Täytyy pitää auto urissa, ja kyllä se siitä.

The feeling is better on the wide roads. It's getting better and better, we're improving. Some ruts are coming through, very nice conditions to be honest.

It was a little bit more slippery. It's breaking through to drier ground and a bit more grip. I was a bit apprehensive to see what we did on the second pass, I thought Ogier and Latvala might find another gear, but I'll give them a tenth of a second.

This morning we got a puncture and stopped to change it, then we got another puncture and we only had one spare. It's nice to have four tyres with air in now! The next stages will be difficult as we haven't passed over them at speed. We'll try our best.

Ce matin nous avons crevé et changé la roue, ensuite nous avons crevé de nouveau mais sans roue de secours. Qu'il est bon de rouler de nouveau avec quatre pneus gonflés! Les prochaines spéciales seront compliquées pour nous car nous ne les avons pas prises à grande vitesse. On fera de notre mieux.

Quite good except the first stage when I lost the alternator belt. I've got the right feeling and I'm getting better and better every stage. We are now 1 second / km faster through this stage.

On sujunut aika hyvin lukuunottamatta ensimmäistä pätkää, jolla katkesi laturin hihna. Fiilis on oikea ja paranee pätkä pätkältä. Täällä oltiin sekunnin kilometrillä nopeampia.
