1. Sebastien Ogier (FRA) / Julien Ingrassia (FRA) - Volkswagen Polo R WRC
It's not easy to read it, again very compact ground and hard to fnd the perfect rhythm. Some corners are pretty slippery, some are better but hard to judge. I could have taken more risks but not a bad one. It's tricky without any lines.

On vaikeaa lukea tietä. Edelleen pinta on tiivis, ja kunnon rytmiä on vaikea löytää. Jotkut mutkat ovat liukkaita ja jotkut parempia, mutta vaikeaa arvioida. Riskiä olisin voinut ottaa enemmän, mutta ei huono. Hankalaa, kun ei ole linjoja.

It was an OK stage. Not really perfect. Some places I can go a little faster. I don't have the confidence on this type of surface. I will work on it and it will be OK in the end. It's tricky, different to what I tested on. I just need to get used to it as soon as possible.

Ihan OK pätkä. Ei täydellinen. Joissain paikoissa voin mennä vähän lujempaa. En oikein löydä luottamusta tällaisella pinnalla. Tehdään töitä, niin kyllä se siitä. Konstikasta on ja erilaista kuin testeissä. Täytyy vaan tottua tähän mahdollisimman nopeasti.

4. Mads Östberg (NOR) / Jonas Andersson (SWE) - Citroën DS3 WRC
Quite a good stage but similar to the first stage. I struggled with my confidence on the really fast stuff. I'm lifing where I don't need to lift and you can't do that at this level.

We had a bit of a moment. I didn't get the best feeling on the car, we were a bit struggling and it was not what I was aiming for. We needed to get the car more on the straight line.

I am trying to find my pace, I am not very confident. Ouninpohja will be fine, we know the stage, this one was more a discovery.

It feels more controlled now with a bit of experience. This one was quite slippery. Trying to carry the momentum. We're sliding laterally on the road - it's a beautiful place to drive a rally car. The car is working extremely well. Oger had a great time running first on the road.

I probably struggled a bit in there. I tried to push but the grip is not where I wanted to be. Because I'm trying to push I was sliding around and not carrying the corner speed. The next stage is the one we're looking forward to.

I don't like to say it was horrible. I was really, really scared of some jumps as I wasn't confident. It's difficult to keep the speed on the corners, I always have some issue leaving the corner. It was the same last year, I don't like this stage.

Aika kauheaa. Pelotti todella joissakin hypyissä, enkä löytänyt itseluottamusta. Vaikeaa ylläpitää vauhtia mutkissa, aina on vähän tilanne päällä. Samanlaista oli viime vuonna, en pidä tästä pätkästä.

This needs a lot of commitment, driving beyond the normal pace notes, you need a lot of confidence.

We had a sensor problem and we've disconnected that and have four wheel drive but now have no handbrake. Picked up a puncture on the last corner [front right] and have no confidence. We have to try to concentrate on driving, too many things have happened. [possibly leaking transmission fluid]

Meillä oli sensoriongelma, otettiin se pois päältä ja nyt ajetaan nelivetoa, mutta ilman käsijarrua. Kärsittiin rengasrikko viimeisessä mutkassa (etu oikea) ja itseluottamus on hukassa. Täytyy keskittyä ajamiseen, liian paljon asioita tapahtuu. (mahdollisesti vaihteistoöljyvuoto)

Really nice stage, no problem. On these roads when you start to hesitate a bit you find yourself far away. The car works well and it's more up to me.

This is quite a good stage. We went wide in a slow corner into grass without a problem but lost 15-20 seconds.

It was quite a nice stage. I'm even more looking forward to the next one but this was really, really enjoyable. I know what to expect but the speed in this car is a bit higher than S2000 so I need to be careful over the jumps.
