It had to happen one day when you have to take so many risks, I made a mistake, it was quite a stupid one but the spectators could not pull me out. There was quite a few spectators but it didn't work, maybe that was the corner without the sisu!

I think we are doing our maximum. We will have to be even more agressive tomorrow with some new settings. I was flat out on some corners. The afternoon is going much better than this morning.

What can we do. It's quite tough, we have a good pace but too many problems. There was a steering problem the first time now we have a slow puncture. These things happen but if you want to fight at that level Finland is very demanding and you need to have everything perfect.

It was really nice. I think Mökkiperä caught everyone out as it was really bumpy. You have to have a lot of commitment in Finland and that last stage was beautiful but tomorrow will be different and a huge challenge to keep the gap. It feels nice but we have to learn to keep it like that.

Se oli ihan mukava. Mökkiperä taisi yllättää vähän kaikki, kun se oli niin pomppuinen. Suomessa pitää todella omistautua asialle. Tämä viime pätkä oli kaunis, mutta huominen on erilainen. On kova haaste pitää tämä ero. Tuntuu hyvältä, mutta pitää oppia pitämään se tässä.

It has been a very good day for our first time in Finland. We are happy with our times so everything is OK.

I'm pretty happy with that. I just need to keep it calm and keep it tidy. I'm so, so happy with how today has gone. It's exceeded my expectations. Tomorrow is more equal. I couldn't imagine being remotely close to be near the podium but now it doesn't seem strange that we're here near the top of the results.

I've not really been pushing to the limit but a fantastic rally and hope that I am still confident tomorrow. Here it's a combination between the car and the settings and the confidence.
