It was OK. This stage was quite different. Not so much loose gravel, quite hard almost like tarmac. There are about five of us quite close, we're going to push like hell. I've adjusted the notes and I'm really looking forward to this afternoon.

It's a nice stage. A nice little stage. Quite a few challenging places, not easy but really nice. The feeling was good.

It's not bad,I had a good stage. The time has paid off so I'm happy with that. I do enjoy long stages but it's a bit of a different approah when it's this short. I have to set my mind before the the stage depending on the grip level, sometimes you are right and sometimes you are wrong.

I did the maximum I could with the car. I can't do more. If you saw me on the last corner you will understand - I was pushing like hell and very late on the brakes. We won't change any of the set-ups but I can do more.

It was a short stage where we all did basically the same time. On a longer stage it's easier to find the good rhythm.

It's pretty good. This is a new stage in the loop, some tricky corners in here. Now we have to do the most difficult part of the job but we've done it in Portugal, we've done it in Argentina so we can use that experience to manage things here.

I'm really happy with the morning - we have to see what happens with my time. We're having so much fun in these roads, I still can't believe we're up here - really pleased.

This stage was quite fast and really flowing but a completely different surface from the previous stages. There was a lot of dampness under the trees. I try to find the rhythm I had yesterday.

We try to get confidence again today. Today is very, very fast. Faster than yesterday.

The time is good but the last corner was perfect! You cannot go faster around that last corner! Great, a good show for the spectators, there was many of them. If someone does that last corner any faster I'll buy him a beer!

On the new stages my times are good but not on the other stages, I don't have the experience. Now we're fighting for second place and trying to keep Tidemand behind us.

At his best, Soilu has been able to reach the top three in the Finnish Rally Championship. "This is my first rally in a WRC2 car. This car is much more competitive than the one I'm driving in the Finnish championship. I have learned a lot here."

Hytönen is from Central Finland and he's a familiar face in Neste Rally Finland. "This is my first time here in a four-wheel-drive car. I'm surprised at our pace. This has been a huge project for us: we started planning for the rally over a year ago."
