It was a pacenote which was a bit too optimistic and I was thinking about correcting it and missed the next note. I lost a lot of time. [reported to be damage to rear right of the car]

It was OK but very slippery. I think I can be happy with the morning, I tried my best. A couple of places that I could gain a couple of tenths of a second. Its important to fight with Thierry and get a good road position for tomorrow.

Sujui ihan OK, mutta oli liukasta. Olen tyytyväinen aamuun, yritin parhaani. Parissa paikassa olisin voinut voittaa muutamia sekunnin kymmenyksiä. On tärkeää taistella Thierryn kanssa, ja yritän saada hyvän paikan huomiselle.

We are on the maximum everywhere. Obviously everybody was sleeping this morning and we gained a lot of time. Now it's more logical and we losing some time. Tomorrow will be our proper day.

I will try, there is nothing else to do. For sure I will try, I don't know what we will do with the car but we need to fix it. We have changed the car for every stage and I just can't match. I almost rolled just now.

Huono aamu, totta kai. On muutettu autoa joka pätkälle, mutta ei pysty tulemaan kovempaa. Sivuttaispito ei vaan riitä. Melkein kaadettiin.

I really struggled to see with the broken windscreen. There is not much you can do when it's like this. The bonnet is really raising while driving as well. Service will be nice.

In here I was a bit too committed in some of the fast places. I had a few big slides which cost a bit of time. It's been OK, for sure we can improve a little bit but overall it's been OK.

Olin liian varovainen muutamassa nopeassa paikassa. Tuli pari isoa luisua, jotka maksoivat aikaa. Ihan OK on ollut, mutta varmastikin voidaan parantaa hiukan.

It was OK. I'm a little bit disappointed as it was more slippery than I thought. It was a little unpredictable and I didn't have the best confidence, I lost a little bit to Ott in there. It was a bit hard to get the tyre to bite the surface. The fight is on and I'm starting to find a more relaxed feeling now.

7. Jari-Matti Latvala (FIN) / Miikka Anttila (FIN) - Toyota Yaris WRC
Ihan OK. Vähän olen pettynyt; oli liukkaampaa kuin luulin. En saanut pyörää puremaan. Oli vähän vaikea ennakoida, eikä luotto ollut ihan parasta. Haen vähän liikaa mutkiin. Hävisin vähän Ottille. Taistelu on käynnissä. Rentous alkaa löytyä.

I just made one little mistake in one place. A little bit distracted where someone went off and I messed up but got over it quickly.

Very slippery I didn't have a easy stage, I did a couple of mistakes on some slippery corners. I tried a little bit too hard.

I went wide a bit. I had a long crest and didn't expect that the car was that light on the braking after the crest. The car was sliding and we lost a bit of time.

We haven't been the fastest but we have been consistent. We don't want to take unnecessary risks and push over the weekend.

Very tricky stages, difficult to push. It's a bit slippery but a few mistakes. Generally OK. It's quite difficult to get the rhythm. It's getting better so I will try more.
