We had a puncture. We got a warning about a third of the way in the stage. Luckily it's a slow one but it was tricky. The time was OK.

I made one mistake once again and lost one second, braked too late and didn't get enough speed out of a second or third gear corner. Thierry's time was better now, he'll be on the pace.

Best of the rest, that's good already. At the beginning I felt I was too slow. Some places I felt I needed to be more committed. You see immediately on the board when you should be more committed but the rhythm is still good.

Muun porukan paras - onhan se jo ihan hyvä. Alussa tuntui, että olin liian hidas, Joissakin paikoissa pitäisi heittäytyä kunnolla rytmiin. Tulostaululla näkyy heti, jos niin ei tee. Rytmi on silti ihan hyvä.

We have a rear left puncture. A long left corner and some rocks had been pulled out. I went a little sideways and damaged the tyre immediately. I tried to push as much as I can so the time loss is not too bad.

Pitkässä vasemmassa tuli rengasrikko kivistä. Menin vähän poikittain kivien yli, ja saman tien renkaaseen tuli vauriota. Yritin minkä pystyin, eikä hävitty hirveän paljon.

Some deep cuts in there. We made some changes to help with the oversteer but in a medium right we spun. So we need to go back to what we had before. I know how to make it better!

It's quite a good time I think so I'm happy. I'm just having so much fun, smiling from ear to ear. I drove anything I had the chance to drive this year, 6R4's, Mk2 Escorts, anything I could get my hands on and it's paying off now.

We made really big changes to the car on the liason section. We went a bit more like last year's settings. the car is more precise and so we'll have to see how we get on.
